    6spd swap (gs6)

For those of you that have done this particular swap, is there an aftermarket ssk that you can recommend?

I did the swap on my M3.

Try out the stock E46 lever and see how you like it first.

I used the UUC kit plus their DSSR (improved selector rod). They offer a specific DSSR sized for 6-speed transplants into the E36, works perfectly, see: http://store.uucmotorwerks.com/dssr-...09mm-p471.aspx

This is the one I’d go for as well. This swap has been high on my list for a while and now that my car’s going strong again, I’m really jonesing for this. I hop in my E46 and almost forget I have a 6th gear from time to time. Only reason I haven’t done it yet is because parts aren’t quite affordable until my work season picks up.

BTW, I did mine back in 2007. Working fine ever since.

Neil, I appreciate your input. I'm going to try stock first and then move into the UUC kit plus DSSR.

Not compatible with a GS6. But I love mine.
