I am in need of pictures of a power steering hose DIY change. Even locations of hoses around engine and an explanation of what part is changed would be nice. I have the front end all open as I am replacing suspension items and would like to fix a power steering leak. I don't see normal connection points to remove. More like aluminum sleeve fittings and no nuts to unscrew. I haven't seen any step by step with pictures and how to access these hoses. I would be glad to pass the procedure on and document with photos if I knew how to approach it. Thanks. 2001 740i.

You should post in the E38 specific section. I would tell you to look at the sticky with DIY's but photo bucket ruined most of those. The hoses are clamped to the reservoir which is usually the source of the leak. Sometimes the small breather hole on the cap just gets clogged. You also have two connections at the cooler IIRC which are held in place by a center torx screw/o ring.
