    Picked up my Z3 yesterday!!!

    Hello,

I just picked up my '99 Z3 yesterday and as luck would have it its snowing up here in Canada. Looking forward to next summer!

Funny enough, this car has the moving seats with broken bushings. Is this a DIY job?

    Thanks.

It's a very DIY job because often dealers and shops aren't familiar with it and suggest replacing the seat.

Your trunk lid has chrome-trimmed holes for a factory luggage rack. Desirable and rare.

Thanks Vintage42. I have the rack and looked up online and saw that you can also get hard case luggage that fits. Pretty cool. I'll have to keep my eyes open for one.

You'll have to keep them pretty wide open--I've only ever seen two and I owned them both. It's pretty cool though, in that it clips and locks onto the rack.

Definitely a DIY job. It was the first job I did after I bought my z3.

    Great looking car!
