    I also miss the days of being able to drive my car on a weekend road trip and be able to beat on it the whole time and not worry about it. Or plan a route with e85. Or worry about getting caught in the rain with drag radials. It's gotten totally impractical. I bring it out a couple times a week to race but I'm no longer driving it like I used to.

    Bikes are fast. VERY fast. Especially new ones. My gsxr 750 is full bolt on and tuned on a power commander V. It gets to 180 very very fast. People who think they're pulling on new liter bikes are nuts. Maybe a stock one off the show room floor with a newbie rider and you making 900 whp. But all a s1000rr needs is a remote flash from bren tuning, an exhaust and filter and it's a 220 mph bike. Oh and it gets there, FAST.
