Supersprint Exhaust for Z3 1.9

A new-old-stock Supersprint cat-back exhaust made in Italy in 1996 for the BMW Z3 1.9. Bought on eBay in December 2012 from Performance Automotive in Glastonbury CT for $650. Used about 5 years and 15,000 miles on a garage-queen Z3 that was always garaged, stored winters, and never driven in rain.
Included are a certificate of compliance from the Italian Ministry of Transport, an authorization from the German Motor Vehicle Department, and a registration form from Supersprint. A sticker on the system said the inner and outer tailpipes, perforated inner silencer cores, and inlet tubes are all made of stainless steel, with the remaining parts high-grade aluminum-coated steel. The muffler is painted with black crinkle paint and the upturned dual tips are chromed.
Installation is bolt-on. The following new parts are included:
(2) Exhaust flange hex bolts with washers -- 07119906141 (the old ones will be rusty)
(2) Copper exhaust flange lock nuts -- 11621744323 (these are single use)
(2) Sets of thick and thin rubber shims, one set left on the muffler mount, and an extra set in a bag. These shims are cut from a muffler hanger, and are required on the right muffler mount to center the exhaust tips in the bumper opening. They have worked for the past 5 years and 15,000 miles.
The following parts not included:
(1) Bosal steel exhaust ring gasket (a solid steel doughnut, the old one is probably stuck on your pipe, usable)
(1) Rubber pipe hanger -- 18211105635 (your old one should be OK)
(2) Rubber muffler hangers -- 18211247422 (your old ones should be OK)
$350 plus shipping.
