    Wheel fitment advice please

    Hi folks,

I’ve got an f20 116d SE with stock 16” 378 style wheels on at present. I have a set of 156 style wheels with winter tyres on, from my old e90, in the garage and was wondering if I can put these on the 1 series safely?
    (pics below)

The tyres are 205/55/16 on all wheels but the offsets on the e90 wheels are 7jx16 eh2 IS34
as opposed to the 7jx16 ET40 currently on the car.

Not really that sure about offsets etc but as this is my wife’s daily driver I wouldn't want to make it less safe putting the other wheels on if they're unsuitable.

Any help or advice on whether these would fit, and if they would they be ok with the offset mentioned above, would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks

    S

A 16X7 ET40 should work fine on your car. The 205/55R16 is the correct size tire as well.

Thanks for the reply Jim, that’s the size and offset of the wheels that are currently on the car at present the ones which I was wondering if would fit are 7jx16 eh2 IS34. Any ideas if they’d be safe to put on? Thanks again for your help.

I am not sure if the IS34 is the offset or not. If it is they should fit.
