E31 Brembo 4-piston calipers fit 16" Styling 9 rims?

I will highly appreciate your feedback on the question below:

Do E31 Brembo 4-piston calipers p/n 34111161177 / 34111161178 work without any issues with stock E31 Styling 9 "turbine" rims?

My search returned contradictory opinions: some say it works, while others say that min. 17" rims (such as "throwing stars") are needed.

16 inch Style 8 wheels fit over it. They were stock on the later cars.

I am sorry that it took me (exactly) 3 years to find out the answer, but I've just got the chance to test it.
Yes, it is confirmed, the E31 Styling 9 "turbine" wheels fit without any issues over E31 Brembo 4-piston calipers.
