previous owner blacked out the car, which has grown on me, and i just posted a DIY of curb rash fix i did on my black powder coated rims in the general forum.
As im cleaning up and doing some routine maintenance and some cosmetic work i wanted to tackle the front trim pieces that have started to peel and reveal their stock color. thing is i was only able to get one of the center pieces off which just popped out, but teh fog light i could only take out the mesh and the center bottom piece, which looks the worst, i have no clue how to get to. hoping its not an entire bumper removal

Hello - take a look at the link below. We have several articles on removing the outer trim on your X5. I've also included a link to some really useful trim removal tools so that you'll have an easier time and not take a chance breaking any fasteners.
