Hello everyone, this is my first BMW automobile so I’m not very familiar with how everything works in it. So forgive me if I ask a dumb question. I may just be doing something wrong for all I know!
So in July I bought a 2013 750i for my wife. When I bought it I looked at the service requirements on the car. The first required service was the front brakes in 3100 miles. Today I looked at it again thinking it is getting close to needing a service. However, it still says 3100 miles till Service. According to the trip odometer we have put 2900 miles on the car since owning it. And I’m not certain but I don’t think any of the other service items in the list has changed mileage either. Is there something I’m supposed to do to update this?
Thanks in advance
Hello and welcome to the forum! I would inquire with the dealership where you bought the car; that certainly does not sound right. I know some of the services are set on dates, but the mileage should at least lower when getting close to the service date.

Not sure if you've gotten this taken care of but I have a similar issue and found how to reset it last night. Basically you hold down your odometer button for a long 5 count and you get "hidden" functions on your dash. You cycle though the options by hitting the odometer button again and you select options by another long press on the same button.
Hope this helps!
