    Vibration under acceleration.

Hi, I have a 2005 x3 3.0. I've had a vibration start when giving it gas. Speed, gear, warm or cold doesn't seem to matter. Sometimes I can seem to feel it more, but always present when giving it gas (accelerating). Let off the gas pedal and vibration goes away. So seems to be something that takes load.
I bought new tires and had them balanced, no change. (Needed tires anyway).
Took out the center driveshaft support and flex disc. Both seemed in great shape, not soft very little flex.
Checked the vacuum line for the flap on the exhaust, connected. But line did seem a little dry.
Checked front cv boots, didn't see any cracks or splits that would let out any grease.
Not sure if it would have anything to do with it, but ordered some transfer case fluid so that will be changed.
Any other ideas or things I could check?

Check motor/trans mounts. Depending on the age of your vehicle, it might be time for a change.

I'll take a look thanks. Would that feel different if I was parked and gave it gas? If I do or don't get the same vibration. If it was mounts I would think it would be present not moving giving it gas.

I'll bet its your transfer case. Try unplugging the actuator to see if that makes the vibration go away.

I had a very similar issue on my E91 xdrive, I was able to fix it by changing the fluid. When the fluid wears out, the clutches stick and slip, causing a chatter that you feel during acceleration.

Check your motor mounts. I have the same issue under acceleration very large vibration felt in left front of vehicle and in steering wheel. I inspected and found my left front motor mount leaking and under hard accel the motor flexes and the left front axle hits the steering column.
