98 323 brake issues with 330i upgrade

So I picked up a 98 323 with 330i front brakes. I am having issues with the pad wear on it. The squeal extremely bad and only the top of the pad is wearing down and the bottom just rub on the rotor. I don’t know if anyone has this issue and what it could be. The brackets are brand new and I bought new pads and rotors and installed them because the old ones were loud. So I’m thinking either the rubber guides are shot or the master cylinder isn’t good enough to fully press the pistons out right. The brakes peddle feels fine and it stops just fine but the noise is unbearable and the pad wear is nothing I have ever felt with before.

You’ve misaligned something or the pads aren’t properly seated in the calipers.

The only this I could think would not be lined up right would be the new caliper brackets. I’ll try and locate 330 brackets. The ones that are on the car are brand new but I’m not sure if they were just cheap eBay ones. But the cheap route first would be to replace the rubber guide pin bushing.
