Camber Plates, Caster Adjusters, Camber arms, and more
One trick for improving the handling in your BMW is to add negative camber to the front wheels. This will increase the tires’ contact patches with the ground during cornering. More rubber on the road means more grip: BMW typically sets mild camber in the front to create understeer. If you're on a stock setup, you are giving up speed and adding time because the front tires run out of grip on the track or autocross sooner than they should.
Increasing the negative camber on your BMW will reduce understeer and prolong the life of your tires when used on the track. Our plates simply bolt on top of the factory upper strut bearings and increase negative camber to your desired setting.
Many BMW models, like the E46 M3, have unique suspension geometry. The individuality of their orientation requires specific engineering and design to allow proper motion ratio and strut angles in order to reduce bending forces on the strut under extreme conditions seen when using the camber plates. By designing each camber plate kit for each chassis we have been able to specifically tailor the plates to each vehicle’s most effective fitment and adjustability.
No adapters are necessary for these plates, and camber/caster adjustment is a breeze thanks to our modular design. Outfitting your BMW with the Turner Street Camber Plates will give your car the handling advantages of a properly adjusted performance vehicle.
