unless your a certified shop and can provide warranty/invoice on the rebuilt motor hardly any more then as it is. Its not worth the parts or time to repair these motors. I just sold a good M54B25 with less then 100k miles on it for $500. There are tons of them out there and not a ton of demand. especially as it becomes less cost effective to repair these cars rather then replace them.
IMO pull any good bits off it and scrap the block. Things like the valve cover, throttle body, disa valve, coil packs, etc are all worth a bit on their own and have more demand.
