2003 325i Repair Help

Hello Bimmer Forums.
Got in an accident earlier this year and am now in need of an inspection sticker.

My car is a 2003 BMW 325i in Alpine White with about 90K miles.
Got a rejection and I need to fix:

• New Hood
• New Grille
• Driver side headlight assembly (unsecured w/broken clips)
• Front license plate mounting

I'm trying to decide if I can buy/fix these things myself, or if I need to find a new car. I had a body shop quote me $4,000 for everything (with new parts). Said he might be able to reduce that figure about 30% with scrapyard parts, but that's still a lot more than I'd like to spend. I've recently had a mechanic go over it and he told me there's nothing wrong with any of the actual internals.

I have little to no experience working on cars, but I'm fairly technical and I think I could probably figure it out.
Here's what I'm looking at so far for parts. I guess I'd like to know if there are any obvious compatibility issues or untrustworthy sites among the sources.

4. For the license plate I'm going to get a new frame and clip the bumper back into place + grab a few more screws.

Going to post a few pictures and maybe someone can tell whether or not there's far more than just the hood, grille and headlight assembly that needs replacing. It doesn't look like the mounting mechanism or hinges, frames, etc. are wrecked, but if at a quick glance you can tell that this isn't worth fixing or demands skill far beyond that of a relative layperson to repair, I'd love to know.

Hood should fit.

Your headlight assembly link leads to an instrument cluster ad.

I'd get these if I was just getting the car back to driveability. These (Magneti Marelli) may not suffer the same bowl burn issues that the ZKW's suffer from.
