Dear Experts,
Friend of mine is going to build biturbo engine on m62b44. He has 2 turbochargers gt2052 and planning to run them for 5psi. My air consumptio calculation is 950kg/h at boost 5psi on 6500rpm. Garret 2052 gives 420 kg/h when it is 5psi. 2 chargers gives 840kg/h which is not already enough.
Any advise gents? Did i calculate it right?

e39 540i 6speed Supercharged,
E36 v8 m62 with m60 headers, Turbp HX-40 0.6-0.5bar or 9psi, custom exhaust & Turbo manifold, injectors 440cc, ECU Invent EMS-2, Mishimoto Intercooler and oilcooler, etc…
Too small, they will only be good for about 350 whp. What turbo's can you get locally? I would have him look for a single hx35 or hx40
Personally, id probably choose a set of promod 88s
328i Sedan Twin s366's, 6.0LS, TH400, MS3 Ultimate
9.20 at 150 on 22psi
I dont think dual 2052s would be enough turbo for my M42 Definitely not big enough for M62

Whatever you do, go stage 3 cause stage 1 and stage 2 are for babies.

Go single s360 or hx40 or like suggested above. If going twins, anything smaller than a GT28 is a waste. Especially at 5psi, most turbos will barely flow anything. You need better fuel/methanol or lower compression. Then twins would be worth it
