I'm swapping a ls1 into 94 318is.
A)I have a question regarding wiring. Is the separate fusebox necessesary or can I just use the existing bmw wiring and fusebox. Like splice in c100 c101 c105 connectors into bmw x20 connector plus obd wiring?
I was trying to find some info on the subject but all of the guides seem to have the pictures expired or missing.

Is it overkill? I'm trying to do this swap on the budget(student life) so if its not necessary Id like to avoid buying redundant stuff.
B)For fuel pump wiring, do I need to wire a separate relay? Here on the forum i found a bunch of threads saying that you need to wire a separate relay. But the guy in the link above seems to use the stock bmw one.

I removed all non required wiring and relays from BMW box. Relocated other fuses and then installed the GM fuses I needed in the BMW box. The GM ECU I put in the DME location. Makes everything look clean. I just followed what others had done. Descriptions should still be in their swap threads even if pictures were deleted. I'm not at home so I do not have any docs for what I did handy.
