Hey all,
I am in the process of removing parts I need from a manual to do an auto to manual swap however I cannot remove the pedal box. The car is RHD so it has the large rod from the driver's side of the car to the passenger side of the car for the brakes. I cannot work out how to remove the rod, I've put an image of it below. Has anyone removed one of these?

Are you familiar with realoem website? It is the parts catalog with illustrations that are often helpful to understand how things were put together.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
This site has a lot of details on E30 stuff as well: http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/index.php/Pedals
It's British, so most will apply to RHD cars.
Awesome thanks guys. Looks like I'll have to pry that clip and pin out where the rod meets the pedal assembly, this will be fun.
