    Schwaben scanner question

I bought the schwaben scanner a while back. Out of curiosity--- it has an OBD2 selection when you are selecting type of vehicle.
tried reading my chevy tahoe. Did not get any errors that it couldnt communicate ---- but it cam back saying "system pass".
I am 100% sure there are stored codes because I have several bad O-2 sensors that I know of.
Anyone tried reading and american car ?

My dad's '09 Chevy Traverse is hard to get communication to connect on. I have used two different scanners (neither schwaben) and only one manages to connect, and only after a few minutes of messing around.

Chevys will self clear codes after not seeing the problem for xx drive cycles. If you want to prove it works, unplug something minor like the IAT, start the engine twice, and see if you can read the code.
