Driveshaft flange question

In the process of doing my manual trans swap on my 530i I was wondering if it’s possible to just have the ends of the driveshaft swapped over from the auto driveshaft to the manual driveshaft as opposed to swapping the diff input flange? Has anyone tried this before or should I just get the input flange from a manual cars diff? Thanks in advance
