Do I have European headlights?

I was looking around online for euro headlight conversion info and I noticed that the euro version had projector housings for the low beam and fog lights. I read that the US ones are simple reflector housings. Is that true? If so that would be an awesome find on my new car because the adjusters are broken and the euro ones are readily available. It's a 1995 840Ci if that means anything.

No. USA ones have projector beams too.

Actually there are many differences. They share no parts that I am aware of. The most obvious difference is the Euro (or I should say "rest of the world" version) glass area is larger and wraps around the side of the light bucket. There is no black plastic frame around the smaller USA one that has an unnecessary gap. The bulbs etc. are totally different too. Plus they have manual leveling via a switch inside, and some other features coded into the lighting control module, such as the ability to turn on ALL the front lights at the same time.
