E38 exterior/interior colors

As restoration of my beloved 750iL is coming closer to the paint job, thoughts about keeping it black or repainting, occupy my mind more and more often. When restoring a vehicle you always keep in mind a car you've seen somewhere and fell in love with. That kinda keeps you on the right track. My choice all along was black exterior with Alpina Dynamic Rims and black interior with dark brown leather seats (Schwartz/Arizona Sun)

However, once in a while you come across some wild, yet interesting ideas. We all know gorgeous aquamarine e38 from Washington state. Send my kind regards and pure jealousy to the owner)))

Also found this yellow e38 that wasn't hideous at all, but rather elegant too.

And of course, the internet is full of bloody idiots who paint this astonishing car in a variety ugly and barf-causing colors. Like these:

And no, I don't care if the guy who did the orange one, built it with a proper quality. If he thinks there is nothing wrong with two black stripes and those hideous headlights on e38, he must be a mad person!

I wonder what other finds you guys came across while surfing the web? Exterior and interior. Ugly and gorgeous. Everything that worth mentioning!

That guys car colour is gorgeous! I heard he's actually repainting it too, using a MERCEDES colour of all things... here's what it looks like:

Black, White, Grey, Brown, Red, Silver, they're all gorgeous! As you said, you fell in love with black. I had a black car and wanted a silver one that I fell in love with, now when I look back and see the silver I'm so glad I never did it.
