I know its been discussed, just cant really find any information on it again now that i actually need it. my engine ground strap snapped from my frame to engine, im looking into new ones, but figured maybe something with protection may help as the stupid oil filter sits above this strap and leaks on it every oil change....

would this work? i know it says m10, but it clarifies m10 only as the e30, 1502, and 2002...
I cant imagine why it wouldnt, just wanted to confirm and see if anyone has any thoughts about this cable or what they went with.
Yup, what he said. It's also a good step to upgrade some of the wires there while you're at it. I slapped on a new 0ga ground from the block to the chassis, and 8ga from the alternator to the block. Bonus, run an 8ga line from the fusebox to the positive terminal on the battery. I still have to replace my b+ (?) line, which I'm pretty sure comes from the starter. Haven't checked yet. The fresh wire helps with a lot of things, especially if your old stuff was literally disintegrated

Awesome, yea i noticed all my wires are mainly shot, the protective cover has corroded away, and stuff not even in tact, like a wire from the alternator (im sure its the exciter) not anywhere near anything lol. I was planning on just downing the car for a week or two, pulling the motor and rebuilding it while relocating the battery and fuse box all at the same time. However, i know if i go that route ill end up never finishing what i started.
also, these are 2ga. that matter?
All that affects is the max current it can carry safely. I did zero because it's overkill. Someone else can chime in, but I'm pretty sure that's fine
