Back in June 2017 I ripped the drivers side roll bar tower when lifting my hard top. (see thread) https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...d-Top-Accident My carelessness caused me an issue that I did not know how to resolve. However, thanks to my friend Mr Bingley (Ralph) he shared with me a thread that he posted with great detail and clarity with excellent photos (see thread) https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...ll-bar-removal. I finally have gotten around to replacing the roll bar tower. I posted a few photos. If anyone needs to replace your roll bar or oddments box, I highly recommend Ralph's thread. It was a real life-saver for me.
