Hello all I may be buying my first E30 and I was hoping y’all could tell me if it’s a M-tech or a clone. I’ve tried to find info online but I was unable to find a good source. I figured y’all would be able to help me out.

    Thanks in advance

Why don't you acquire the VIN number of the BMW vehicle and go to:

FYI, the iS is just an i with more options. I don't know where you're getting M-tech from, but that looks like an iS (they're two different things). What's the VIN?

no... not an MTech ... if it was you would see ...
    - ///M logo on front and back
    - side panels
    - rocker panels
    - mtech spoiler
    - mtech steering wheel
    - factory lowered on HR springs
    - etc........

what makes you think it is even a clone?

... forty-three years of driving before I get behind the wheel of a BMW .... and I am thinking, "why did it take me so long?"
... and then after another 4 years I can't believe that I have two of them !!

How exactly can you tell it’s genuine? By the vin info? And what the options were?
