    2006 e91 MUST DO Mods etc

    Hey all,

    Looking at getting a 2006 e91 as my daily.

    I'm an e36 guy and am able to tell you everything to do to an e36. e91? not so much Looking for some insights as to what are the must do mods / upgrades.

    Let the ideas and you spending my $ roll......

    Wasn't aware that an E91 was available in CA in '2006 - they weren't available until '07 in the US. So be careful what you're looking at.

    Much depends upon the engine, but it probably has an N52 of some designation. The only real mod of interest is to put a different (probably the 330i intake) onto any 323i or 325i (and new DME programming.)

    Programming a lot of the EU options helps. Things like folding the mirrors with the remote, and a digital speedo are really nice.

    Just get the manifold, tune, and some headers. Also an intake wouldn’t hurt. Get some suspension as well. At the end of the day your e91 should push around 250 whp.

    Also correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the n52 already had the 330i manifold so all you would need is a tune. Unless if it has the n51.
    Modding the n51/2s are pretty pricey.
