No. The E38 hub is 72.56mm and the E39 hub is 74.1mm. The offsets are slightly different front and rear as well, and the E38 rear Mpars are 1/2 inch wider. You can buy adapters to permit the E38 wheel fit on the E39, have the E38 wheel center bored out to the E39 dimension, or replace the hubs on your E39 with hubs from an E60.

How can this even be a question? Obviously the style 37 (M-pars) are the only choice. Geeze you guys. Lol
That's what I have on my car and I think they are the perfect look on a sporty E-39.

Something that's not Style 37s IMO
Too many sheep-like people all going for the same alloys... Makes it a bit boring IMO
If you can, Style 42s in 18" are lovely alloys, but so are Style 32' (you'd have to get them off an E38 and have the centres bored out to 74.1 though)
What about the alloys that APEX offer or something aftermarket, more individual?
I went for these AVA Phoenix alloys in 18" (18x8 and 18x9) and think they suit my car very well indeed
Aloys are a very personal choice though, like footwear really!
This is them with my 530i running 15mmm spacers:

Ok, today I decided to buy those e38 m-parallels for my e39. I am planning to make wheels bores wider from 72.56mm to 74.1mm. Also, good thing is the e38 m-pars is 9.5" when e39 M-pars is 9". It will give me better vision and good grip during street racing.

Yeah, that what owner said but then i realised it is for e38.

You can't loose either way. If both are OEM, go for the one that is easier to clean. I have a set O f M pars ready for my car next Spring. As my mechanic says, " all cars look good with M Pars".
Hi there, just changed wheels.
First trying.

Then took them to tyre repair shop and removed tyres and checked for diformations.

After that grinded from 72.56mm to 74.1mm.

Then checked for balance and asambled tyres back 18r. 45/245.
Have a look, perhaps too big.

The person who grinded my wheels was also BMW fan. He has centralized device by name m5)))

You need to get the right sized tyres on ASAP IMO
235/40/18s up front and 265 or 275/35/18s on the rears; will look and sit right then Plus your speedo will be as accurate as it can be, with the wrong sized tyres on, it'll be out of kilter
They look well though. Get them refurbished (silver/sparkle lacquer centres and hand polished lips, they'd look stunning IMO)

That's kinda funny. I'd trust any machinist with that.
And fully understanding that English is not your first language, he "bored" the wheels on a milling machine. "Grinding" is done with a stone wheel. Not used on aluminum much. And for us "stoopid Americees," that's a "centering" device.
Sorry for my English, i meant milling. And that device is for centralizing.

Next year i will work on them very well. Also, i want to try to check my acceleration and time 402m and 1km. After i will change the tyres for proper size.
