My 335i e92 vibrates when I am going over 80 and also tends to vibrate when I press on the brake. Any ideas what could be? I have hear of brake calipers/ brake pad issues but how do I troubleshoot it. Thanks

It could be that your tires aren't well balanced. You could take it to a shop and prob charge like 20$ just to check. Or also when you brake, your rotors may not be smooth. You may need new rotors or just resurface them.

Braking vibration is caused by warped brake rotors, have you replaced the brakes at some point and were they factory or after market parts? If they are aftermarket parts there's your problem.
Depending on miles it also can be the stupid hydro-mount on the tension strut, if one of those fails it feels exactly the same as a warped rotor.
Check your control arm bushings first. They are oil filled, so leaks indicate a failed bushing. Like Butanmist said, failed control arm bushings do feel exactly like a warped rotor. Warped rotors are fairly uncommon on these cars.
Lift up the car and spin the front wheels by hand, if you feel excessive or uneven drag on the wheel, check brakes and rotors.
I replaced both tension strut and wishbone, now streering wheel vibration is completely gone under braking.

Same thing happened on my E70 X5 due to one of the ignition coils failed. Something to do with piston timing from memory. You get this juddering effect around 60-80+kmph. Check your coils, likely one has failed and needs replacing.
