I have an issue with my 2011 335i where it’s becoming more clear that I may have a failed turbocharger.
Has anyone had success having a dealership honor the extended 7 year 70,000 mile warranty on defective parts covered under the California Emissions Control Warranty? See the document “Service and Warranty Information” for the 2011 model year cars: https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/at...0&d=1492325417
Page 31 states that New Jersey is a covered state (where I reside). Page 45 shows that the turbo charger is covered for the 2011 335i up to 7 years, 70,000 miles.
Any experiences to share? Was the total bill for the repair covered?
If the part is under the 7/70 and BMW has dx that is the problem then it will be covered. But they need to dx it and you have to sign up for that and if it's not covered you will owe them dx fee
