My car just today sounded like an old wheelbarrow being pushed. Could it be the belts that are bad now? I have had it for about 4 months now and it has 116,000 miles. I will try to put the URL to the thread. Any help would be great! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gyDT-U9ga0E

Sounds like a bad idler or tensioner pulley. Generally you diagnose with a mechanic stethoscope, but things are kind of tight on this car. You can also remove the belt and feel the pulleys by hand, but the car uses a weird torx tensioner. I would replace the tensioner, idlers, and belt. It's due for it at that mileage. It's very hard to remove the belt without the special torx tool, I think you can get one for like $40. I would recommend fixing the noise before driving the car, a shredded belt is VERY bad. Also check your power steering fluid, it can make similar noises if it gets low. Your car sounds more like pulleys though.

This is weird but, about 4 hours later the sound went completely away... and today I haven't heard anything at all... could it have just been something random like the belts being wet or something? I don't know much about what else could make that sound. Thanks.

I'd vote for the new belt and tensioner recommendation. E90's are easy and fast to change. Make sure the new pulley includes a stretch bolt (aluminum). Torque it to 18lbs with an extra quarter turn.
