Finally got a new pixel strip in..

No wonder the car feels so worn the hell out lol

Still haven't had much opportunity to sort out the O2 heater/circuit and knock sensor codes, but little steps and all.

Thanks I've already seen those...the problem is more than just replacing the sensors, but that the DME isn't seeing them and the heaters have no voltage. There's a break or short somewhere. Have to half tear the car apart to find it, though.

I'm only aware of the fuse panel over the battery and the one in the glove box...is there another? I haven't found a map for the fuses yet (really haven't had a lot of time dedicated to sorting this out yet) so I'm not certain which fuse would be for the O2 heaters.

yeah linking me to the bimmerfest main page doesn't help anything. If you wanted to maybe link me to a decent FSRM available online that'd be helpful.

    Fuses......
Yes, in the DME box, under pass side cabin air filter. Look here first.
    Above glove box
    Behind the glove box.
Under pass side carpet just in front of the right side of the seat.
    Above the battery.

under the carpet and under the cabin box? Why not put a couple behind the dome light or inside the transmission tunnel, too? lol

More places to check when I have the time to finally work on it...might have to make that a bit of a priority in the near future, though. If I can fix the O2 situation just by changing a fuse that will move me way ahead in the repairs.

Yes you did, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I was going to have to bump that thread and ask where the DME box was (also on the list is finding a decent FSRM, or buying one, so I don't have to keep asking where everything is).

It's mentioned in the very first reply I posted in that thread, under the passenger cabin filter in the engine bay.

    Cheers

I’m sure you did. I don’t remember discussing their big fuses under there but I do remember you telling me to check The dme ( probably I just missed it i cant go look right now. I can get my phone to read all these comments to me and it can write and post my replies without me having to take my eyes off the road but opening a new thread is less graceful). This thread wasn’t really meant to revisit that particular topic. It’ll probably be a week or so before I have a chance to spend an hour working on the car chasing down O2 issues.
