How to clean Noah car cover

I was in the process of moving house and whilst doing so, my car cover sat in a very dusty workshop environment getting covered in dust, dirt and god knows what else.

How can I wash this - is it safe to take to a laundromat with a large washing machine, and put it in the wash with washing powder (and softener?)

Tangcla- It takes a rather large industrial type washing machine to really do the job right. The cover is quite large, so you need the bigger machine. I wash mine using mild detergent no softener. Take it out after washing and put it on the car. Fresh again!

I also clean mine in a large washer at the laundromat and I wash it using Simple Green

I wash mine by hand in the bathtub. Not the greatest method, but it works ok (but I don't do it often). It's also a whirlpool tub, so I turn on the jets for a bit to aid me in the task. It is kind of a pain in the butt though (it really gets heavy when wet). Another option I have thought about but haven't tried was to put it over another car (one of my older daily drivers), then just use a hose and a soft brush to wash it.

If I remember correctly my cover recommended using a large commercial washer and a cup of Fantastic Spray Cleaner

    not enough
Just doing this for the noah cover for one of my tbirds: 1/4 cup of simple green or similar cleaner, industrial washing machine, rinse twice to make sure all cleaner is off. Most importantly, air dry.

Is the Noah cover designed for outdoor use? My car is currently living under a tree which seems to house a number of birds.
