Looks good. Are you developing this product yourself?

Looks great, but the M bumper is already pretty darned low to the road now, I wouldn't want to loose another couple of inches--I'd be bottoming out all the time.

Not really. The only reason an M bumper is lower is because of the slightly lower ride height. The actual height dimensions of the bumper are identical to the 6cyl.

The new air opening created.... where does it go? Is it plumbed back up into the radiator, or just dump under the car?

Yes i developing this lip. Air go under the car. If i can build with Gyftane (better then fiberglass), i will build a few for sale. It's right, front bumper is low with this lip, but my roadster is with low coil-spring (not original coil-spring).

I think that looks cool as hell.

How much lower does it make the front bumper?

BimmerBreaker: for now the molding is just made with wood material.
Tallyho322: height from the road 3.5p, lip height 1 5/8p, car height from fenders to the ground: front 25p rear 26.5p

I think aesthetically it should be wider at the sides. And splitter parts near the centre should start where the actual splitter starts (or continue that diagonal line).

@bimmerbreaker, fiberglass parts creating is basically the same as any other composite part creating. Check this page for good tutorials: http://www.easycomposites.co.uk/#!/composites-tutorials

Great work, nice to see people still busting out ideas for the 368 chassis.

I have a couple prototype aero parts for the M Coupe collecting dust. Never found someone to cost effectively reproduce them.

Thanks for comment: Wider is not possible oem bumper is ronded, lip will be higher from the ground at the end each side.

Check the Hamann lip, they made it wider.

I dig it, makes an already aggressive front end ever more aggressive!

This looks like the Hamann non-M splitter, with a filler center section for the M's bumper. I've always like the look of the non-M bumper personally, and I think the Hamann splitter makes it even better...I should've never sold mine.

It looks great, but wouldn't last more than a few weeks on any lowered car...unless you can make it out of ABS or some type of poly/plastic material. The problem with fiberglass and carbon fiber bits is that they don't like making contact with asphalt/concrete.

@BimmerBreaker: Are you referring to the parts you messaged me about? If so, I'm waiting for pics in order to get you a quote. I can do either fiberglass or CF. Reproducing stuff is rarely the problem (we haven't had any car parts that we weren't able to reproduce yet)...it's usually the costs that prevent it from happening. If you're still interested, just let me know...and send some pics of the items in question.

@Msilvia: Hey brother, I'm gonna text you about what you've got. I'm in the process of doing some full CF mirrors, and would love to hear what it is you're looking to get reproduced.
