P0444 Evap Canister Purge Control Valve Repair

Here's the DIY guide to replacing the purge valve in the evaporative emissions system on your BMW. This is the purge valve for the fuel tank, commonly causing the trouble code P0444 / PO444. Replacement of this inexpensive part usually resolves the code and clears the service engine soon light.

First of great DIY video. So I tackled this and was able to replace it. But when I started the car after the install the SES light was still on. I erased it with the OBD II scanner. Did yours go away on its own?
