A quick hello and just bought a 330ci 'vert

Finally started to have little fun until the X3 sells...nice but boring. I picked up 2002 330ci 211k kms interior rough but I wanted a project to muck around with until I get another E38.

I have never seen this colour before and its individual stratusgrau metallic. Engine pulls well no fault codes, speakers are shot so is there a cheapish option from major manufacturers for a retrofit? or is it the likes of Bavsound or similar?

Also going to fit a short shifter and new gear knob...your suggestions for the best short shifter?

Congrats on the new purchase.. Yes the color is pretty spectacular...and good luck on getting it fixed up, it can be a challenge.....

I think you mean Stahlgrau Metallic (paint code 400), or as we say in English, Steel Gray Metallic. Stratusgrau Metallic (paint code 440) was not a color available for your year, unless different colors were made available in the UK and AU.

Definitely paint code 440 individual with light olive leather, olive maple woodwork. I have never seen this combo before and I think it would have looked quite something back in the day but the good old Aussie sun and jeans have taken care of the drivers seat and the woodwork
