Help - e53 rear rotor not coming off (not seized up gho)

Trying to change rear brake and rotor on my 2002 e53 4.4i

I was able to get the rotor free - but something from inside is pulling it in when i try to pull out the rotor

rotor is not seized but - feels like some sort of spring mechanism that is pulling it back

i released the ebrake and yesterday after my first attempt (had ebrake on) i was able to put everything abck and drive today - and 2nd attempt i made sure that ebrame was releases - but same issue

i can think of only spring from ebrake that is somehow caught and grabbing hold of the rot

    whatbdo i do?

any pointers would be grately appreciate

    thanks

Loosen the parking brake adjusters. This can be done with a flat screwdriver through a wheel bolt hole.
