    2004 330xi 156k miles cv axle replacement?

I have the drivetrain out of the car the subframe is out also with everything on it except engine/tranny.
My question is should I go ahead and replace both axles with gkn. I think they are original ,
the boots look ok no tears barely some checking in grooves. we have never drove this car so don't know if they were clicking. since it would be easier now. just do it. we are trying to get another 100k out of the car

Replace them while you have it apart. Its an absolute bitch to do twice.

I've done both axles in the car, not easy-peasy but not that difficult.

Gave away my BMWs, driving a VW and an Audi now.
