    Rear shock recommendation

One of mine is leaking oil. Any recommendations for a good price on a standard replacement shock. Nothing fancy, its a beater.

Just go to your local auto parts store and buy one. Come with lifetime warranty and they’re basic suspension use. If you want to go super cheap you can look online for Meyle. FCPEuro.com price matches and offers lifetime warranty on everything they sell so get them from there! All you have to do is email customer service for the price match

Hello and welcome to the forum! Take a look at the link below for a shock for your 04' 325xi. I would recommend getting the Bilstein B4 which is a direct replacement of what your car originally came with; very reliable and quality brand/shock. We're happy to answer any questions that you may have.

There's great shocks, bilstein and Koni. Then there are middle of the road Sachs or boge. Then any thing else is probably crap. Don't put crappy shocks on your car

If it’s a beater just get something with a lifetime warranty. Cheap and gets the job done. Anything is better than blown out shocks. Of course they will only last as long as how much you pay for but if it’s for a beater then I say just buy a cheap lifetime warranty pair and use em till they blow out and swap em out again. They’ll last at least a year, and if not that’s what the lifetime warranty is for

I just put e36 m3 shocks on the back of my xi. Under $155 with new mounts from FCP.
