Folks - No longer available 8 Series parts from BMW is a perfect example why it is important to come together as a strong, organized group to request and apply pressure on BMW to bring obsolete parts back into production for service use. Joining the BMW CCA E31 Chapter is the first step. This past September I visited BMW Group Classic. During the visit I saw several issues of Roundel on desks- I did not see any other BMW club or organization literature during my visit, only BMW CCA Roundel. BMW Classic have the clout with BMW purchasing to bring obsolete parts back into production. To make that happen, we need to come together as an organized group making our parts needs known and apply our clout to make those requests a reality. If you are already an E31 Chapter member - excellent! If not, consider joining other E31 owners and and add your influence to make our voice heard in Munich.

Doubtful. Unless they sent you a shipping number they’re probably gonna send you an email 3 days from now saying they’re NLA and issue you a refund. I’ve ordered many parts like that for different cars where an online parts place like that, says it’s available and let’s me buy it, then a couple days later says it’s not and I get my money back. But hopefully not I guess we’ll see.

Yeah he won’t be getting any. The situation I explained above is what’s going to happen now that I see BMW definitely has none. I thought there might be a slight chance given they were discontinued not that long ago and they may still have some old stock but I guess not.
Olin, I ordered them last night (03/23/2018). I had bought a set previously on eBay for around $100 about 8 years ago. I also got a replacement trunk mat on eBay at the same time along with the netting. I hadn't thought about them going nil stock else I would have bought two. I'll report back when I hear something from the company. Being the weekend they only sent me confirmation of the order but no shipping information. Although, they seem to be a good source of BMW parts and a lower cost than most. Carl
I received the following message today from Auto Parts Warehouse https://www.autopartswarehouse.com/
“
