    S52 E39 M5 Dyno Vid - 858whp

    Been a while since I've posted any updates, and I jumped off bookface indefinitely, so I figured I'd chime in.
    We had a Dyno Day recently at the shop and after a whole day of 300-500hp cars, I decided to strap the M5 down and turn it up a little bit. This run is on about 30-32 psi out of a
    6870 and Rapid Spool Industries manifold on a 87mm 8.5:1 S52, and C16 fuel. Hope you guys enjoy the noises!

    I have been asking around with no reply. What is the safe boost levels and the max boost on the stock S52. I also have a 99 540 I am looking forward to boosting and wonder what the boost rang the motor will handle before it grenades? Can you please give me some insight. Lol

    weird, people are making 1000whp with that turbo at that boost level. Is there something wrong with the car?

    How mad were you reading that. Its bullshit, i know. Thats killer power!! Glad to see you back. Is the setup still the meth only/no intercooler?

    Lol where they at though?
    I don't see the numbers being off for a motor that's seen a lotttttt of racing, that's low compression, that's still running stock cams, and is running a tune that has the maf maxed out at 600hp.

    I dont think its off even for a mint motor and perfect tune, i think its spot on.

    That was 5th with a 420G. I run the car repeatedly in 6th also before I do the 1/2 mile races.

    About 740 ft/lbs.

    Because of the Dyno Day and timeliness, we didn't do tach pick-ups for Torque. But here is another run from a week or so earlier...

    I have been wondering how daily driving is, thought about putting an s52 in my 01 740il. Asked the 7 guys and they made feel like I was some kind of pedophile trying to deal with that small motor.
