Location of parts E32 740ial 1993

Hi All

I have been working on the E32 740ial 1993. After some work on the trunk lining I have found two extra items that I am not sure of their location?? Two photos attached. One I think is a hold down wire for something on the rear tail lights. The second is some sound proofing from the trim in the trunk, but not sure where..

I was hoping that this would be easy for those who work on these great cars and good for the novice.. like me..

Probably both parts belong somewhere behind the trunk carpet between the taillights. Probably for the tools there
wheel lug wrench
wheel chock
center cap tool

But I do not have the hold down wire + chock in my car, maybe depends on built year or country spec.

Hi Shogun (and All)

The e32 has a vin DE75330. OK, I have looked through the BMW ETK but still no success. You're thoughts are that the components are behind the trunk carpet between the taillights. I am still trying to think what the wire holds down.

If anyone has an thought I would appreciate it.
