Visibility with Dark Helmet Shields on Rainy Days?

Stupid question but anyone here use tinted helmet shields? My original clear one is due for replacement and been thinking of replacing with a tinted (wearing sunglasses is annoying). Just not sure if I should go Light Smoke vs Dark, especially when factoring in rainy/cloudy days.

    Light Smoke

I use both for motorcycle racing (car has large banner for blocking sun). I highly advise switching visors for the conditions present, use good judgement.

I have a tinted visor on the helmet but run with it up most of the time. Also a big fan of a banner, think mine is 8 inches and that takes care of almost all of the sun issues. If you think of it the next time you are out mark your windshield wnd it helps when and if you want to make a banner. You can get remnants of vinyl from most shops for dirt cheep and do it yourself.

Definitely dark. I love mine (no more sunglasses!) Just keep your clear one handy if the conditions require so.

This. I have both a dark and a clear and switch back and forth depending on conditions.
