Camshaft position sensor

Wife's e46 is throwing p0365 camshaft sensor exhaust. Thing is it's intermittent. CEL goes on/off multiple times in less than 20 miles.

That tell all you anything?

If that code is reliable, replace the camshaft sensor.
Btw,OBD2 Codes can be very unreliable, BMW codes more efficient.
