Looking to buy my first ever car now. Either 320i, or 428i, but if i get the 428i, ill be pretty much super broke, as its almost 2x the price
What do you guys think? Im in Canada so i need a winter driveable car as well. Is the power of 320i enough for regular driver?
Thanks
One day you'll have a wife and two kids and all you will be able to afford is the 320i. Trust me, the older you get the more other people use your money. When you are 40 you will only be able to look back fondly at one of those choices! Get that one!!

I ended up getting a 320 with the idea to change to a M235 in 2 years. I don't regret, because i know I will be able to do so in this time.
The 320 it's a good car, but yes it's a considerable power difference between the 2 options you pointed out (to start off...)
I was looking at a 428 but ended up with a 328. The styling didn’t do it for me. That being said - i’d Go 428 between the two.
Wow, you liked 328 styling over a 428 Coupe?? To each his own; also the 3 series are a dime a dozen now and not unique at all
Exactly. They're literally everywhere and unless you have some my-dads-coolest-friend-had-one-when-i-was-a-kid complex's, or something homemade and functionally unique under the hood (so you're driving around with a smirk) the 428i is the way to go. I am looking myself but am now drawn to the 430 or 435 for the 6 cylinder
Good luck; 4 series is sharp. I wanted bit smaller so purchased 2018 230i; love it!
