Passenger window won't go up properly F20

    Hi,

I'm having an issue with my passenger side window, it won't go all the way up, if I press up it will go half way then goes down again. I have to stop midway then pause then flick it again to close.

I tried resetting the window, holding the window down for (5, 20, 30 secs) then same when its in close position. But that doesn't seems to work :/

    Any suggestion please.

    Thanks

What process are you following to reset the window? Also what caused this condition? I believe the reset procedure has to be done from the Driver side door switch.

following these steps http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=247984, as for what caused it I don't really know I left it at bmw dealer for service and when I collect the car it was like that. But when I asked them about it they didn't touch it at all they say. So for them to look at it I will have to pay £99 to diagnose it which is quite annoying. Yes I was doing it from the driver side door.

Sit in car with all doors closed
    Key in ignition
Roll the window all the way down (not in auto) don't let the switch get to the second click and hold for 30 seconds
Roll the window all the way up (not in auto) don't let the switch get to the second click and hold for 30 seconds
Window should be reset and working in auto
If all fails,i would pull a battery cable off for a little and retry the reset procedure.
    Good luck!

How's the 2nd step going to work when the window won't go all the way up when I try to close the window.
