Might just give the gripforce stage3 a shot but how is it to live with day to day? also anyone know what it's actually rated at torque wise?

SACHS 765 with a stock organic disk? apparently these are good for 600nm, and I read that this is the conservative stock rating. Set to the perfect spring height, the clamping force gets crazy! I have a link somewhere of a Swedish dude testing the clamp pressure versus 'spring height'. With a stock 240mm organic disk, they are very nice to drive.
Rama from RHD sells a chrome moly LWF that uses this PP and mounts to an M5x.

I'm also in the market for a twin disc, thanks to butters for posting all that info. I called Competition Clutch yesterday because their website wasn't showing a clutch option for the e36 m3. I spoke with Chris Siebert, he said that the twin disc they sell is actually the DKM brand clutch. I'm not sure if this is what they have always sold that was previously branded by them or not. I do know they sell it for $1295 with organic discs and can ship 1-2 days after purchase. I'm waiting to see if any black Friday deals happen this weekend and then jump on it.
Just a heads up for anyone interested, once I get around to pulling it I am putting my very low mile UUC twin feramic up for sale for 1200 (going 4 speed and have a GM fitment Tilton for it).
A few years later Does anyone have any feedback on chatter with the DKM twin disk (organic)? I have read many posts that it's a very streetable clutch, nice engagement, but don't see info on chatter (hopefully there is none).

I have the same question as abradic. my fx gripforce stg4 kit is slipping, but i have driven it many thousands of miles. Debating on getting the same thing again (way cheaper) or just buying the dkm twin disk.
the stage 5, it feels like stock no jerking. I'm going with gs6-53bz transmission so I will have to sell mine. Under 1000 miles on it. And like someone mentioned, the rebuilts are very cheap. They actually send you a new clutch and pressure plate. If you're interested, I can send you pictures of it.

Southbend told me it renumbered its clutches. I had the old SB Stage 5 and liked it. Fused the standard disk at the drag strip. They send me the notched version because it cools faster but I fused that one also. Then they sent me the ceramic and I never fused it at the strip. It did start slipping after 10-15k miles, but I was probably overpowering it. It might be the best single disk daily driver clutch for moderate power versions of these motors (400-600 lbs rwtq).
I got some responses and info on this thread, scroll towards the bottom and page 2 for the recent posts. Hope the info helps.
