Let's just face the facts/music. We are a bunch if washed up grumpy old men that like to bitch. Sure we get a couple of young pups that look to this section for guidance from those that have been there done that. These are the smarter small % of the kids. We are just washed up haz beenz. If it wasn't the occasional Z we toss into our words, our Kool factor would be in the negativez. We are now the old men that think safety is cool and should be addressed first.
The younger generation now wouldn't take jump shot lessons from Larry Bird cause they can watch YouTube and learn it the right way.
There are an ass load of attempted e36 builds that we have no idea about. Never will. Go on eBay and search E36 turbo manifold. Take a look on how many have sold. Much more than the 20 regular guys on here. That's for shit sure.

This sums up the 3000GT situation as well. I'm just a grumpy upper 30's guy, hanging on to the forums. (Still is the best medium for auto discussion and archived knowledge.)

Yes, I made over 1200hp and 2000ft/tq at 2700 rpm's on my stock S50 block with a GT35. The proof is below if you don't believe me.

Went to the dyno. But I think the dyno is off. Not sure what that max whp thing is ? I told him to go to 9500rpm. But, he said dyno would break.

Special ICS oil pump nut.
TRM gold battery terminals.
See, most people don't realize the importance of proper conductors on the battery.

The other guy on here has TWO 2052s. Twin turbos make 2000 uW without much issue. GG gave me some rare metals (unobtanium) from Pluto to make my ultra lightweight valve springs and retainers from. I have a meeting in a parking lot tonight to get some plutonium from the Libyans! Should blast me back in time and hang the front wheels!!!

What’s up everyone? I’m revisiting the forums a lot more lately partly due to wanting to find new parts for my E36 M3 build. I have been on theee forums for a long time. FB is definitely causing the forums to die down, hopefully bf.c doesn’t go like dtmoower did.

I was one of the very few to run a TSI Kit with a custom tune from a buddy back in 2005-2007. I also had a top mount GT35r after my first build, I’m hoping I can create a monster. I’ve been on the FB pages for 4 years now and honestly it has turned into craziness like you all mentioned before.

Anyway, nice to see people still using bf.c

Just like the guy near me with an battleship grey wrapped E36 M3 with no inner door panels, cut springs for stance (because stance is lyfe) smashed front valance-see cut springs and stance, and conversation about his Nurburgring Forza times. Claims he is Euro as Hell. Never been out of the tri-state area.

Poseurs are poseurs regardless. I like what I like and rarely give a shite what others think. That’s the beauty of having a few years under your belt. You care less about that crap.
