I noticed the discussion here has drastically died and simultaneously did not see a post calling out the absurdity of recent TRM claims of both power figures and then the hilarity of signing NDAs, etc with a remote tune customer.
I miss the forums of old, but I guess need to be more active on FB.

First of all, i have never been more embarrassed to be apart of a group of people as i was after reading that thread. Not because of the comments, those were awesome, but because i learned that 2 (not one) stock DME tuners have posted fabricated dyno sheets.
WHO DOES THAT???????
Especially TRM. Holy shit.
I cannot wait until i sell my car and leave you frauds behind.
losers.

It is a bunch of both immaturity and a race to the bottom of part quality and car value...agreed. However, more active than the forums by a long shot. It used to be (both FI and Rides section) on this forum that if you posted at night, your post was off the 1st page within an hour. Now, there are posts with no activity in a week+ still on the 1st page. Things change..I just don't love it.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised. I didn't read the whole thing...who was the other vendor in addition to TRM aside from Mert 5+ years ago (I don't count Mert as that dude was never legit in my eyes)?
Every group has their clowns...BMW is no worse than some of the BS I have seen on domestic boards.

I'd believe McCoy before Gordon, any day.
Sad to see this strange, silly activity though.
Internet Schminternet
It all started over somebody asking if trm has any 1000hp e36. Post got deleted and trm came with that Supra dyno claiming to be a he’s tune

Damn! My BF.c app takes a dump and haven't been on in a few days.
But, I did not expect this from TRM. But, there's probably more story.
If you believe it was a stunt/joke, then I'm not sure what to tell you. It jeopardizes his own company (TRM) that he was trying to pass off a dyno sheet with vague details as his own. As soon as he got called out, I am sure he had an "Oh Shit" moment and made up some excuse about he didn't actually see the dyno graphs or the car in person, he was just tuning from a distance and then there was an NDA he had to sign (yeah right! Maybe if he were tuning for an OEM...but for an enthusiast with a 20+ year old BMW, no way) to not share much.
He didn't ruin his company (and most of the FB group is swinging from RKTunes anyway), but I can tell you I wouldn't use TRM given that....just shady and dishonest behavior makes you question what else they/he might be doing.

Thought I was the only one that felt that way.
I will say though it was rather entertaining seeing him to explain how that dyno graph was his work and everybody calling bull.
It was actually Jordan that called trm out on the Supra dyno n 22rpd on editing some display dyno graph.

Im failing to see how the joke is on anyone but TRM/McCoy and anyone supporting him in this instance where he blatantly lied about the graph being a car he tuned utilizing "TRM Pistons, etc" ?
Nope. He (and select other tuners) definitely have an air of superiority when they post. I've just learned to filter it out.

Sad to see that these forums are dying to facebook. I'm another one that doesn't have social media. Glad we have guys like butters and a select few other members still kicking ass on these forums!
And dburt you better stick around to keep us updated on the new project!
