    Nope. Oddly enough its a silver 02 540 car. Very well done. The company that did it used the car to prototype a full LS swap kit.

    It is not. The device I used was a prototype that is unlikely to ever go to market.

    Brandon. Your built was top notch and should inspire other. Wish I had read your blog when the BAT winner wanted to sell. I would be interested. Anyway, I'm on this one as well. Anything that "might" be an issue?

    Thanks for all the comment. As much as I wanted too, I think I'm going to pass and hold out for a m5t. Just a personal preference. Wondering where this will end up. I would be surprise if it goes above Brandon's LSX at $36k.

    My best guess would be 25-30k. I was shocked that Clay's 800 plus hp turbo ls1 e39 only brought $20k. You just never know..

    Yeah, that was a little strange. On one hand, people on BaT seem to be pretty leery of engine swaps and project cars, but your wagon brought in good money. Perhaps your wagon was more famous and more desirable than a sedan due to the rare color combo? And your wagon was also built on a much higher budget due to having a new engine vs a junkyard engine, so that could have been a factor as well.

    I ended up buying that car the other day. I had an E36 M3 that was LS6 swapped before...build thread is on here somewhere. I have a decent amount of plans for this one as soon as it arrives in PA next week. Should be a fun build.

    I'm kinda surprised that a LS swapped car went for that much. If it was a S62 swap, I could see it getting that money if not more.

    Mine sold for $36k. Iirc, the ls swapped 2 door restored jag went for about $100k recently on bat.

    It's a clean car with the right combo of parts on it. It would have cost me a LOT more to replicate. Good purchase in my book.

    Thanks! I'll put a thread up as soon as it arrives which should be this weekend. The pick up in Idaho took a little longer than expected. Lots of plans for the car including some boost.
