stereo upgrade suggestions

I have a 2008 E64, it has nav, sat, and aux plug, that's it. No usb, or 6 disc changer...
I would like to upgrade to a newer interface, where i could stream music from my phone, as well as seeing apps like waze and youtube on my screen. What are my options other than spending a fortune on a cic upgrade???

Hi Scott - I would suggest going on Crutchfield and seeing what's available for your car. They have a configurator that allow you to plug in your make/model/etc...and shoots back everything that will fit. Link attached below. Hope this helps a bit.
