Gents, I apologize for restarting this conversation but I cannot find the thread where the issue was discussed before.
Anyway, I have a 2006 Z4 M roadster and need a navigation disc for Europe/Germany. I remember reading something about different levels i.e. Executive, Professional etc. but the US map disc I have does not have anything like that printed on it. It just says: "BMW On-Board Navigation System North America 2006.2" Looks like it was made by NAVTEQ. Can anyone point me to a source for the proper disc or a download?

I looked at all of the posts and they were all dead leads. Tried Ebay and no-one would confirm their disc would work. Finally got the car off the boat and went to the BMW dealer in Wiesbaden. It took a while but then they took me to their parts guru who by going through who knows how many files find the disc I needed and it cost me about $75. Only down side is that it still have the 2006 vintage graphics. When I think about it I will post the part number.
We had ours delivered to us at the dealer in Mainz when we lived there. They were very accommodating of our needs, but unfortunately never disabled transport mode!
Sure do miss being home.
A lot has changed there since I moved in 2009. Like WAAF becoming Clay Kaserne.
